The PPGT-BE Solvent Extraction Unit is engineered to refine base oil by removing undesirable components, including PAHs, gums, asphaltenes, and sulfur, nitrogen, and oxygenated compounds.

Royal Neft has developed a fully redesigned extraction process featuring a proprietary continuous counter-current solvent extraction column, specifically optimized for base oil derived from used-oil re-refineries. This system significantly enhances key properties, such as viscosity index, oxidation stability, Conradson Carbon Residue, and color.

Utilizing our advanced solvent extraction and recovery technologies, the process achieves over 98% yield of API Group I+ base oil while consuming only 1 kg of solvent per ton of feed.

The system produces two high-value outputs: premium base oil (raffinate/neutral oil) and an aromatic-rich extract, both suitable for use in high-grade process oils and fuel oils.
